What.

I am about creating something a bit sassy and classy. Very strong and soft looking at the same time. With a meaningful statement of how a woman can “find a feel” to help navigate her power and her life.

Why.

Its incredibly important to me make art that isn’t loud, computer generated, or redundant. It has to gurgle up from the fountain of my soul and please, not only me, but you and others. Why hang art just for the sake of filling space? It must be something you connect with, I sincerely hope you do.

How.

I love that I found a way to express myself without using color. Just a basic black and creamy linen, are all I needed for my tree ancestors. And yes they are authentic names from my history. It’s simply paint, a brush and a scraper that I made for myself. I have also been known to paint with my fingers.

My love of trees is my base and my DNA and the ladies that made me, are my true brush.
